Gina Mainoo
Project Manager & Creative Director
She has a BA in media productions and Msc in International Tourism planning and management. She has 30 years of experience in the creative arts industry. A member of the Hartlepool Carnival Committee and on the Hartlepool Cleveland Police Advisory Board.
She has a strong background in education, leadership, and community development. Gina is a youth mentor and loves to make a difference in her community.
Nomusa Malinga
Project Coordinator
Nomusa Malinga works in UK Local Government within Town Planning Policy. She volunteers her time as a Project Coordinator for TransformersHPL. She would like to make a lasting positive impact in her community. She is passionate about sustainable development and wants to contribute towards building thriving and resilient sustainable communities.

She holds an MSc Town Planning, MSc Geo-information Science, and BSc Honours Agricultural Science.


Nathaniel Turkson
Nathaniel Turkson volunteers with TransformersHPL. He holds a BBA (in Banking and Finance) from Methodist University, Ghana, and an MSc (FinTech) from Coventry University London. He has 11 years experience in Media and events organisations such as Joy FM 90's Jam, Ghana DJ Awards and MTN music festival. He has worked as a Business Development Manager for Multimedia Group Ltd Ghana (8 years) and also as a Sr. Sales Account Manager (Ignite Media Group).
Daniel Oliver
Trustee
Mr. Daniel Oliver is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He has worked in various gents clothing shops including Austin Reed, Selfridge, Savill Rowe, River Island and lots more.
He held the position of Press line manager and was also responsible for the quality of men's suits going to the shops.


Olivia Rose

Olivia Rose is a lecturer in Travel and Tourism with a strong background in education and youth development. Passionate about empowering young people, she also serves as a Youth Advisor for TransformersHPL, supporting initiatives that promote personal growth, leadership, and community engagement.

Gladys Obale Nanje
Trustee
Mrs. Gladys Obale Nanje is an accomplished dynamic professional with a strong background in education, leadership, and community development. A dedicated teacher by profession, also serve as a Committee Connect Lead at Ubuntu a community Organisation in the North East of England .

We have a 10-member Community Advisor Board. These passionate individuals volunteer their expertise to steer our mission forward.

Fanta Conde
Mrs. Fanta Conde is a student who would like to meet new people from different backgrounds and be able to share experiences. She believes every person has an interesting story to share across cultures.
Ivy Phiri
Miss Ivy Phiri lead safeguarding for TransformersHPL. As a safeguarding social worker working with different vulnerable adults, she knows that mental health issues pose the biggest challenge in the country, especially in the North East. She wants to help the community tackle mental health issues and ensure all are safeguarded. Mental health issues are often not spoken about as openly, and as such she would like to encourage people to speak out and seek the right support.


Calista Sube
Calista Sube is a member of the community advisory board. She has worked at UPS as the Operations & Customer service manager. She has gained knowledge and experience in logistics shipping, warehousing, billing and administrative functions. She would like to make a difference in her community.
Sandra Raul Viegas Dos Santos

Lucy Sarfo Minta
Works with Home Group as a Support Coordinator in their Central Resource Team (CRT) . The group manages the company’s STEP and Dispersed properties in Redcar and Cleveland.

Dhaneesh (Dan) Francis
Trustee
Dhaneesh Francis (Dan) came to the UK in 2008 for his MBA and has since built a successful business career. Since moving to Hartlepool in 2021, he has become an active community member.
Dan serves as a trustee of the Hartlepool Indo Malayalee Association CIO and as Vice-Chair of the Diversity Network, promoting inclusion and cultural engagement.
He also supports local initiatives through TransformersHPL, reflecting his strong commitment to collaboration, diversity, and community development.
