TransformersHPL is driven by the vision of Georgina Mainoo and supported by Nomusa Malinga. Started as a community organisation in 2021 but later registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales in January 2024 as TransformersHPL with a charity number (1206502). Our charity promotes racial harmony in Hartlepool by fostering mutual understanding and respect among diverse cultural groups. Our mission is to eliminate discrimination through education, advocacy, and community projects. Discover how our initiatives in dance, music, sports, food, and arts are making a difference. MISSION.
To advocate in respecting people from diverse cultural background by acknowledging racial struggles, religious practices and celebrating heritage in order to eliminate discrimination, to help bring diversity and inclusion in our town.

To continue working together with various stakeholders building a relationship which will help make an impact on social change. We plan to use education, dance, music, sports, food and arts projects to bring the community together. This will help the ethnic minority people to value who they are and their identity.

The promotion of racial harmony in Hartlepool and the surrounding area for the public benefit by:
(a) promoting knowledge and mutual understanding between different racial groups;
(b) advancing education and raising awareness about different racial groups to promote good relations between persons of different racial groups;
(c) working towards the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race.
